01 · Who we are
Who this policy covers
SEDA is a voice layer for real-estate agents built on top of SkySlope. You record a debrief of your deal, SEDA turns it into a set of form fields, you review and accept each value, and SEDA writes the accepted values into your own SkySlope account.
This Privacy Policy explains what information SEDA (“SEDA,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. SEDA is operated by ID8t LLC, located in Virginia. It applies to our website and our iOS application (together, the “Service”).
SEDA is a software tool. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. You remain responsible for the contents and use of every document you produce.
02 · What we collect
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and brokerage or team. Accounts are set up with your brokerage; there is no self-serve sign-up.
- SkySlope connection. With your authorization, credentials that let SEDA act on your SkySlope account at your direction, stored encrypted.
- Voice recordings and transcripts. The audio of the debriefs you choose to record and the text transcribed from them. Recording happens only when you start it, and transcription is designed to happen on your device; audio is processed in our cloud only when on-device transcription is unavailable, and is deleted once your transcript is produced.
- Deal information. The field values drawn from what you said, each kept with the words it came from, and your record of accepting, correcting, or clearing them. This can include personal information about other people in your transaction that you choose to speak aloud.
- Device, usage & log information. Notification tokens, usage metering, and standard technical data (such as IP address, device type, and service logs) used to operate, secure, and debug the Service.
SEDA is built to capture only what you actually say. If you don’t state something, the field stays empty, and no value is submitted without your accept.
03 · How we use it
How we use your information
- To provide the Service: transcribe your debrief, extract field values for your review, write what you accept into your SkySlope account, and send notifications you expect.
- To maintain your evidence trail: keep each value’s originating words and your acceptance records.
- To manage your account and keep the Service secure and reliable.
- To comply with law and meet recordkeeping obligations.
- To improve the Service, using the least identifying data we can.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not permit your recordings, transcripts, or deal information to be used to train AI models.
05 · Storage & retention
Where your data lives and how long we keep it
Service data is stored and processed in the United States. Recordings are designed to be deleted once your transcript is secured. Transcripts, field values, and acceptance records are kept with your clients and packets while they exist, because they are the evidence behind your documents. Values and documents you submit live in your own SkySlope account under SkySlope’s retention. Account, usage, and log data are kept while your account is active and for a limited period after. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it; we may retain certain records longer where required by law or to resolve disputes.
06 · Security
How we protect your information
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, encrypted credential storage, access controls and least-privilege permissions, and systems designed to keep your transcripts and deal contents out of logs and error reports.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
07 · Your rights
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, delete it, or obtain a copy in a portable format. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we will respond within the timeframe required by law. We may need to verify your identity first. Data in your SkySlope account is subject to your agreement with SkySlope; we act on it only at your direction.
08 · People in your deals
Information about other people in a transaction
Much of the personal information SEDA processes about buyers, sellers, and other parties is information that you, the agent, choose to speak aloud. For that information, the agent and brokerage are generally the controller of the data, and SEDA acts as a service provider/processor that handles it on your behalf and under your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it and for providing any notice required by law. If you are an individual in a transaction and have questions about how your information was used, please contact the agent or brokerage you worked with.
09 · Children
Not directed to children
SEDA is a professional tool intended for real-estate agents and brokerages. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10 · Changes
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves or as the law requires. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
